Burritos smothered in red chile or green chile?
[Laughing] Christmas! I know my New Mexican food man!
For those not familiar, Christmas is a way to order both green and red chile on your burrito in New Mexico, and is a way that I also like my burrito.
Barbacoa: all meat or not?
Not, give me everything. For me barbacoa is made with lamb, barbacoa borrego.
Chili: beans or no beans?
I don’t really care. Either way it is delicious for me. I don’t have that Texan demand for purity, as long as it is good I don’t care.
Fish tacos: fried or grilled?
Beans: refried, borracho, charro or black?
Oh my God. I would have to go with charro. For me they are just a little bit more flavorful they have more of that bacon mixed in a little bit more lard. I like them all though, they’re all great, but you ask me to pick one so I’ll pick charro.
