Another local chef who had restaurants close to the Meatopia festivities at the Pearl was Chef Andrew Weissman. The restaurateur behind Il Sogno, Sandbar, The Luxury and Minnie’s Tavern prepared a stuffed veal breast on creamy polenta. One of the fan favorites, it was tricky for his team to keep up with the demand.
If you didn’t get a chance to try the dish at Meatopia, Chef Weissman said that he looks to make it available at Minnie’s Tavern in the near future. With Chef Weissman being so active on Twitter, I’m sure he’ll be tweeting out when it become available.
