It’s no secret that I’m a Whataburger fan boy. I was one of the first to write about their Spicy Ketchup back in the day, found a way to score a 2014 Fiesta Medal before they were sold to the general public and had a Patty Melt as my last meal as a single man before walking down the aisle with my beautiful wife. You’ll see me sporting Whataburger shirts, hats and even this amazing sun shade for the car that says, “It’s hotter than a jalapeño out here.” But Whataburger shoes?!?! That’s next level!
When I saw their new contest to win custom Whataburger shoes, I was like, “ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?!?!” The shoes are so fresh, transforming a pair of Jordan 1s into a South Texas classic with the orange and white stripes along with the “W” logo on the back. And you can enter to win these shoes simply by sharing your favorite custom Whataburger order by using the hashtag #WhataThoseContest.
“We can take a shoe like this and spray paint a burger on it, you know, but that wouldn’t be the most stylish thing to take to the streets,” shoe creator Jake Danklefs said. His assessment was spot on and he ended up creating a shoe that will be highly desired by sneakerheads and Whataburger fans alike!
