The Acorn is a private school on Broadway across from Mahncke Park (my neighborhood!) that offers preschool and kindergarten programs. This is the second year for the school to create a Fiesta medal and this one is in honor of the school’s 35th anniversary.
The medal was designed by Acorn alumnus Mollie Starnes and features text that says, “Tall oaks from little acorns grow.” The medals are available at the school office at 3501 Broadway, San Antonio, TX 78209.
