Who would have ever thought that a doughnut shop would have such great tacos? Well my friends, if you haven’t been to the Original Doughnut Shop on Fredericksburg road, you are missing out on one of the better breakfast taco spots in town.
A friend who lives on the Westside recently brought in a bag of breakfast tacos to work to celebrate some of our recent projects (friends buy friends good breakfast tacos). She advised me that the country sausage and egg was the choice taco, so that is what I ordered. The taco was chocked full of meat and eggs and had a nice spice flavor on its own (the salsa added another good kick to it as well).
Just be warned: the Original Doughnut Shop doesn’t accept credit cards so make sure you have some cash on hand.
