Last Saturday the San Antonio Current put on the San Antonio Beer Festival at Hemisfair Park and I was excited to go and try some tasty beer. There was a lot of people, live music, local breweries and a ton of beer to try. Despite the long lines, my friend Keana and I enjoyed ourselves and the beer!
It was a beautiful day for a festival!
For $40 at the door ($30 in advance), we were able to try up to ten beers.
My first choice was the Ballest Point Pale Ale.
Cheers to a good start to the festival.
I love Ranger Creek beer and Garrett suggested we try the Oktoberfest. It was tasty!
I was happy to see other local breweries at the festival, including Branchline Brewing Company.
I collect koozies, so I was excited to buy a new one!
We needed a snack to go with our drinks, so The Quarry Hofbrau pretzels to the rescue!
Other than local brews, there were plenty of other choices.
And there was live music to enjoy.
Salut to a good day at the SA Beer Festival!
