I don’t think that anyone can deny the unique fabric of the San Antonio community. We have such a wide variety of neighborhoods, cultures, and people in our city. I thought it might be interesting to highlight some of the folks who I think have interesting jobs, organizations, or hobbies that really make San Antonio a dynamic place.
I’ve decided to start a new feature called “Qué Pasa” that shows what’s happening with different folks in San Antonio. The format of the articles will be a brief introduction about the person I visit with, a story about what they are doing in the community, and a conclusion with a recommendation of one of their favorite San Antonio restaurants or one of their favorite recipes.
My goal is to release one of these articles every Tuesday (though it may turn into an every-other-Tuesday article) so I can showcase individuals making our city great and the food that sustains them while they do it.
Our first profile should be posted this Tuesday, October 5. I am in the middle of lining up other interviews, but if you know of someone who has a compelling story (or if you have a compelling story), be sure to drop me a tweet or a comment on the blog!
